Rockland County Organizations Secure $3.8 Million Federal Funding for Early Head Start Programs

Two Rockland County-based groups have secured a combined sum of over $3.8 million in federal funding for their Early Head Start initiatives.

The Salvation Army is set to obtain over $1.6 million, while the New Square Community Improvement Council Inc. will benefit from a funding of more than $2.2 million.

This financial support, channeled via the US Department of Health and Human Services, will be utilized to offer holistic early childhood education and support to families and children with low incomes.
