Rockland County Officials Approve $164,150 for Just a Buck Program: Boosting Employment for Developmentally Disabled Individuals

Rockland County Executive Ed Day, alongside Acting Commissioner of Mental Health Dr. Susan Hoerter and Venture Together’s CEO Matthew Shelley, sanctioned $164,150 for a program supporting employment for those with developmental disabilities.

The Just a Buck Employment Program offers these individuals hands-on job training, competitive pay at minimum wage, and chances for community involvement.
