Rockland County Offers Extended Early Voting Hours for 2023 General Election

In an effort to encourage civic participation and make voting more accessible to its residents, Rockland County has announced extended early voting hours for the upcoming 2023 General Election. Registered voters in the county will have the opportunity to cast their ballots over a span of nine days, starting on Saturday, October 28, 2023, and concluding on Sunday, November 5, 2023.

Here is a breakdown of the early voting schedule for the General Election:

  • Saturday, October 28, 2023: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Sunday, October 29, 2023: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Monday, October 30, 2023: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Tuesday, October 31, 2023: 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM
  • Wednesday, November 1, 2023: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Thursday, November 2, 2023: 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM
  • Friday, November 3, 2023: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Saturday, November 4, 2023: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Sunday, November 5, 2023: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Rockland County will have seven convenient Early Voting Centers for the General Election, ensuring that residents have multiple options for casting their ballots. These centers are:

  1. Clarkstown Town Hall, 10 Maple Avenue, New City, New York 10956
  2. Haverstraw Town Hall, 1 Rosman Road, Garnerville, New York 10923
  3. Orangetown Town Hall, 26 West Orangeburg Road, Orangeburg, New York 10962
  4. Ramapo Town Hall, 237 Route 59, Suffern, New York 10901
  5. Stony Point Community Center (RHO), 5 Club House Lane, Stony Point, New York 10980
  6. Fire Training Center, 35 Firemen’s Memorial Dr., Pomona, NY 10970
  7. Pascack Community Center, 87 New Clarkstown Rd., Nanuet, NY 10954

In addition to extended early voting hours, the Board of Elections in the County of Rockland is providing extended office hours for absentee voting and office-related inquiries. These extended hours are designed to accommodate voters’ schedules and include the following dates and times:

  • Wednesday, October 25, 2023: 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM
  • Saturday, October 28, 2023: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM

  • Tuesday, October 31, 2023: 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM

Voters are also encouraged to drop off their absentee ballots in person during regular business hours or the specified absentee extended hours.
