Rockland County Fire and Emergency Services announced that, due to overwhelming community interest, an additional Emergency Preparedness Training has been scheduled at the Rockland County Fire Training Center.
The free New York Citizen Preparedness Corps class is designed to help residents prepare for emergencies and disasters. Participants will learn how to develop a family emergency plan, assemble a preparedness kit, and stay informed before, during, and after an emergency. Each family that attends will also receive a free preparedness kit to take home.
The training will take place on Wednesday, March 12, beginning at 6:00 p.m. at the Rockland County Fire Training Center. Registration is required and space is limited.
