Rockland County Launches Donation Drive to Support Families in Venezuela

Community leaders across Rockland County have launched “Rockland County United for Venezuela,” a countywide humanitarian donation drive aimed at providing essential supplies to families facing ongoing hardship in Venezuela.

Residents are encouraged to donate a wide range of much-needed items, including non-perishable food, pet food, medications and first aid supplies, personal hygiene products, baby and child essentials, emergency supplies, bottled water and sanitation items, as well as new or gently used clothing, blankets, and sturdy shoes. Organizers say every donation, no matter the size, will help bring hope and relief to families in need.

Donations can be dropped off Monday, June 29, through Friday, July 3, between 6:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m., at either of the following locations:

  • Quisqueya Sports Club, 25 Broadway, Haverstraw
  • Louis Kurtz Civic Center, 9 N. Main Street, Spring Valley

Organizers are encouraging the entire Rockland County community to participate, emphasizing that “together we are stronger” and that every contribution can make a meaningful difference in the lives of Venezuelan families.
