Rockland County Executive Ed Day and the County Planning Department are inviting residents to attend the final spring workshop for the Countywide Comprehensive Plan update, taking place on Thursday, June 5, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at St. Thomas Aquinas College’s Romano Student Alumni Center, 125 Route 340, Sparkill, NY.
The Comprehensive Plan is a strategic, long-term document that outlines the county’s vision for land use, zoning, development, housing, infrastructure, and economic growth. This workshop provides a vital opportunity for community members to help shape Rockland’s future.
Attendees will be able to:
-
Learn how the plan will guide future policy and development decisions;
-
Share feedback and suggestions on key priorities;
-
Engage with neighbors and local leaders to voice their vision for Rockland County.
County officials strongly encourage public participation in the planning process, which will influence critical decisions for years to come.
