The County of Rockland encourages residents to attend these events to submit new claims or check on existing ones.

County Executive Ed Day expressed his personal endorsement, stating, “I have shared this information on social media multiple times because, occasionally, someone out there ends up finding a few extra bucks they would never have known about. These funds come from abandoned bank accounts, insurance companies, courts, and more. We strongly urge our residents who are unsure to visit one of these events and check if they have any unclaimed funds.”
