Rockland County Honors Veterans at Clarkstown Appreciation Ceremony

Rockland County Executive Ed Day joined community members, veterans, and elected officials at the Town of Clarkstown’s Veterans Day Appreciation Ceremony, held at the Street Community Center in New City. The event celebrated and honored the dedication and sacrifices of veterans who have served and those who continue to serve our nation.

Executive Day expressed his gratitude to the veterans, acknowledging the pivotal role they play in safeguarding the nation’s freedoms. “Thank you to all who have served and continue to serve our great nation,” he remarked, underscoring the county’s unwavering support for its military community.

The ceremony, attended by a cross-section of community members, highlighted Rockland County’s commitment to honoring its veterans and ensuring that their service and sacrifices are recognized and remembered.
