Rockland County Honors Major Bryan Negron’s 37 Years of Service in NYS Courts

Major Bryan Negron, a distinguished member of the New York State Courts, was celebrated Wednesday upon his retirement after 37 years of unwavering service to the people of New York. His career includes an impressive 30 years as a Court Officer Captain and Major, marked by 20 years in the Bronx County Criminal Court and an additional 17 years in the 9th Judicial District, which serves Rockland County.

The Rockland County District Attorney’s Office, which closely collaborates with the state courts to maintain a safe and just legal system, joined in honoring Major Negron’s dedication to public safety. A retirement walkout ceremony was held at the Rockland County Courthouse, attended by District Attorney Tom Walsh, along with colleagues and community members who expressed deep gratitude for Major Negron’s commitment to protecting the courtroom and ensuring a secure environment for all.

“Major Negron’s dedication and professionalism have left a lasting impact,” stated District Attorney Walsh. “We are immensely grateful for his decades of service and wish him the very best in retirement.”
