The Rockland County Highway Department recently held a three-day hands-on chainsaw training exclusively for its own highway department members. The program focused on chainsaw operation, maintenance, and safety procedures.
This training is part of the county’s ongoing efforts to ensure its crews are well-prepared to safely clear roads and respond to emergencies involving downed trees and debris.
County officials thanked the highway department team for their continued dedication to maintaining safe and accessible roadways across Rockland.
