The Rockland County Highway Department has announced the upcoming Call Hollow Road Bridge Rehabilitation Project, which will entail significant repairs and waterproofing of the bridge over Minisceongo Creek, located just south of Willow Grove Road. The project will also include the construction of a 140-foot-long retaining wall along the stream and roadway to the south of the bridge, along with the installation of a new guide rail. HVB Construction Inc. has been contracted to carry out the work.
Beginning on or about Monday, June 10, 2024, Call Hollow Road will be closed between Willow Grove Road and Anthony J. Morina Drive. This prolonged road closure is expected to last approximately four months. A designated detour route will be established to redirect traffic around the construction site via Willow Grove Road, Letchworth Village Road, Ridge Road, Thiells-Mt Ivy Road, NYS Route 202, and Camp Hill Road.
For any questions related to this project, please contact the Rockland County Highway Department at 845-638-5060.
