Rockland County Heating Assistance Applications Now Open

Rockland County residents can now apply for Heating Assistance (HEAP), with applications officially open for the season. The program helps eligible households offset rising home energy costs during the winter months.

Applications may be submitted online at myBenefits.ny.gov or in person at the Rockland County Department of Social Services, located in Building L, 50 Sanatorium Road, Pomona.

For assistance or emergency heating needs, residents can contact the county’s HEAP office directly at 845-364-3100.

The announcement was shared locally by Assemblyman Aron Wieder (Assembly District 97), who encouraged families to apply promptly to ensure timely benefits as colder weather sets in.
