Rockland County Health Officials Urge Residents to Stay Up-to-Date on Vaccinations Following Measles Cases in Nearby Orange County

The Rockland County Department of Health is urging residents to ensure their vaccinations are current after three confirmed cases of measles were reported in neighboring Orange County.

According to the New York State Department of Health, the cases involve unvaccinated children under the age of five who were exposed to the virus during international travel. As of now, no measles cases have been reported in Rockland County.
