Rockland County Firefighting Students Near Completion of Training

Rockland County’s Basic Exterior Firefighting Operations (BEFO) students are nearing the completion of their program before advancing to Interior Firefighting Operations.

As the class concludes, trainees have been practicing critical skills such as ladder placement, stretching hose lines, and connecting engines to hydrants—essential techniques for every firefighter.

Officials emphasized that this training milestone not only builds technical ability but also marks an important step in preparing the next generation of firefighters for service in Rockland County and beyond.
