As summer winds down, Rockland County Fire and Emergency Services is celebrating the completion of its daytime summer training class. Many of the participating students are now heading back to school, but not before advancing to the next stage of their training — interior firefighting operations.
Throughout the summer, these student firefighters dedicated themselves to intensive training, building the skills and confidence needed for both the classroom and the fireground.
“We are proud of the hard work and progress our students have made,” officials said. “Their commitment has prepared them to continue their education and service with strength and determination.”
The department extends its best wishes to all student firefighters as they return to school this fall while continuing their fire service training.
