Rockland County Fire and Emergency Services Launches New Preparedness Video Series

Rockland County Fire and Emergency Services – Emergency Management Division has unveiled a brand-new video series designed to help residents stay informed and ready for emergencies. The ongoing series will feature short, informative videos covering essential topics in emergency preparedness.

Kicking off the series is a practical tutorial on How to Prepare and Set Sandbags—a critical skill for safeguarding property during heavy rain and potential flooding.

The department plans to release additional videos over the coming months, each focused on equipping the public with the knowledge needed to handle a variety of emergency scenarios. Officials stress the importance of being proactive, reminding residents: Preparedness starts with you.
