Rockland County Fire and Emergency Services Launches Emergency Preparedness Videos at Stony Point Police Department

The Rockland County Fire and Emergency Services has introduced a new initiative aimed at helping residents stay prepared before disaster strikes.

Visitors to the Stony Point Police Department will now notice Rockland Prepared emergency readiness videos playing in the department’s lobby. The short, informative videos provide practical safety tips to help individuals and families prepare for severe weather, power outages, and other emergency situations.

Officials say the goal is simple: encourage residents to take a few minutes to prepare today so they are ready when an emergency happens tomorrow.

Rockland County Fire and Emergency Services expressed pride in partnering with the Stony Point Police Department to make critical preparedness information easily accessible to the public.

Organizations, businesses, or facilities interested in sharing the Rockland Prepared videos are encouraged to contact Rockland County Fire and Emergency Services at EM@co.rockland.ny.us for more information.
