Rockland County Executive Ed Day, Legislators Lon Hofstein and Aron Wieder Announce 2% County Property Tax Cut for 2025

Rockland County residents will soon benefit from a 2% County Property Tax Cut, marking the second consecutive reduction under the leadership of County Executive Ed Day, Legislature Minority Leader Lon Hofstein, and Budget & Finance Committee Chairman Legislator Aron Wieder.

The new tax cut, which goes into effect in 2025, follows a trend of fiscal responsibility and relief for taxpayers, with no increases to County Property Taxes in both 2022 and 2023.

This tax cut reflects a continued promise to ease the financial burden on residents while maintaining the county’s financial stability.
