Rockland County Executive Ed Day Approves $677,376 Initiative to Expand Crisis Intervention Services for Children and Families

County Executive Ed Day and Acting Commissioner of Mental Health Dr. Susan Hoerter have approved a $677,376 agreement with Astor Services for Children & Families to provide short-term intensive crisis intervention services.

The funding will support community-based programs aimed at stabilizing children and families in need, preventing hospitalizations, and promoting long-term mental health. Astor Services will use the funds to expand its capacity and deliver these critical resources countywide.
