Rockland County District Attorney Tom Walsh recently convened with representatives from Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) New York to strengthen the collaboration between their agencies and enhance their service to the Rockland County community.
HSI, a key federal law enforcement agency under the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), tackles crime on a global scale—domestically, internationally, and online—to safeguard local communities. Under District Attorney Walsh’s leadership, several detectives from the Rockland County District Attorney’s Office Special Investigations Unit have been appointed as sworn Federal Task Force Officers with the United States Department of Homeland Security.
The ongoing partnership with HSI and other law enforcement bodies aims to ensure the continued safety and security of Rockland County residents.
