Rockland County District Attorney Tom Walsh has announced that a Grand Jury has indicted three West Haverstraw men—Valadmair Fogle, 19, David Ross, 23, and Elijah Eurie, 18—on two counts each of Robbery in the Second Degree.
The charges stem from a brutal attack on a 61-year-old man outside his home at 47 New Main Street in the Village of Haverstraw on the evening of July 11, 2025. As the victim descended his front steps at approximately 7:22 p.m., the defendants allegedly approached, grabbed his shirt, and began striking him in the eye and neck. The assault continued onto the sidewalk, where the attackers surrounded the man, knocked him to the ground, and forcibly removed a silver chain necklace from his neck before fleeing toward Clove Avenue.
The disturbing incident was captured on video by a surveillance drone operating in the area. The victim suffered a visible eye injury and reported significant pain.
The case was investigated by the Town of Haverstraw Police Department with assistance from the Rockland County District Attorney’s Office. If convicted, each defendant faces between 3½ to 15 years in state prison.
Supervising Assistant District Attorney Meghan Garvey is prosecuting the case.
As always, charges are merely accusations and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
