The Ninth Judicial District of the New York State Unified Court System will host a special “Lunch and Learn” program titled “Religious Differences in Matrimonial Mediation” on Thursday, December 11, 2025, at the Rockland County Courthouse in New City.

The event, held from 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the Jury Department, will focus on how to mediate cases involving religious differences during matrimonial litigation. Participants will also receive guidance on the practical mechanics of bringing a case into mediation.

The program will feature presentations by Isaac Gruenebaum, mediator, and Bobby Pierson, ADR Coordinator for the 9th Judicial District. The session will be offered in a hybrid format, with TEAMS links available for virtual attendees.

The training is hosted in partnership with the Rockland County Bar Association and the Justice Brandeis Law Society, and CLE credit will be provided. Kosher refreshments will be served.

Advanced registration is required. Participants may RSVP by using the link or QR code provided by the court system.

This session is Part 4 of a five-part educational series on matrimonial mediations. Additional details are available on the 9th Judicial District ADR webpage.
