Rockland County Consumer Protection Director Addresses Holiday Scams at Rotary Club Meeting

Last week, Kim Von Ronn, Director of Rockland County Consumer Protection, took center stage as the guest speaker at the Spring Valley Rotary Club meeting. The presentation focused on safeguarding consumers against scams, which often spike during the holiday season, and educating attendees about their rights as consumers.

Von Ronn highlighted various tactics scammers use to exploit individuals, offering tips on how to recognize and avoid falling victim to fraudulent schemes. The discussion also delved into the importance of staying informed about consumer rights, especially during a time of heightened financial activity.
