Rockland County Conducts Emergency Preparedness Drill at Operations Center

Rockland County Fire and Emergency Services recently held a mock emergency drill at its Emergency Operations Center, testing the county’s readiness to respond swiftly and effectively in times of crisis.

The exercise, organized by the Emergency Management Division, focused on strengthening coordination, communication, and operational efficiency among multiple agencies. Officials said such drills are vital to ensuring seamless collaboration when real emergencies occur.

“Preparedness saves lives — and these simulations help us make sure we’re ready when seconds count,” the department stated.

Rockland County Fire and Emergency Services extended its appreciation to all participating emergency service partners for their dedication and teamwork in making the drill a success.
