The Rockland County Board of Elections has released its year-to-date voter registration numbers, showing how residents are choosing to align politically in 2025.
According to the report, Democrats lead with 1,504 new registrations, while 1,412 voters registered with no party affiliation (NOP), continuing a strong trend of residents opting out of party enrollment. Republicans accounted for 1,048 new registrations.
Smaller parties made up the remainder: Conservative (53), Working Families (20), Independence (20), Other (48), Green (2), Libertarian (2), and Women’s Equality (1).
The data highlights the growing influence of voters with no party affiliation, who nearly match Democratic registrations and outpace Republican gains.
