The Bikur Cholim Room at Nyack Hospital has officially relocated to a new and more accessible location on the first floor of the hospital, making it easier for patients, families, and visitors to find and utilize its services.
According to the announcement, visitors exiting the elevator should make a right and walk down the hallway, where the Bikur Cholim Room will now be located on the right-hand side. The move is aimed at improving accessibility and convenience for those in need of support during hospital visits
Shia Lefkowitz of Rockland County Bikur Cholim tells Monsey Scoop that the Bikur Cholim Room was nearly closed after hospital officials indicated they needed the space. Following discussions with Dr. Geller, CEO of Nyack Hospital, the room was ultimately relocated to a new first-floor location, ensuring it remains available to patients and families who rely on its services.
The Bikur Cholim Room continues to provide vital resources and comfort to the community as part of Bikur Cholim’s ongoing mission to support patients and families. The organization can be reached at 845-425-7877, and additional information is available at BikurCholim.org.

What kind of nonsense is this? Nyack’s new bikur cholim room is a tragedy. It was moved from a palace in the center of the hospital to a little nook in a corner. With no bathroom. Have you even looked? Or just swallowed the press release without chewing?
Rebbetzin Chill out. It wasn’t a palace this is much nicer.
Who is this room actually for? All people people or only certain people?
Because if it’s only for the jews then the hospital needs to accommodate all races.. not just one!!! Also, who footing this bill for this room. Medicaid
Bikur Cholim of Rockland stocks and manages this room.
