Rockland County Approves New Training Equipment for Police Recruits

Rockland County Executive Ed Day and Sheriff Louis Falco have approved a resolution allocating $181,158 for the purchase of new obstacle course equipment. The state-of-the-art equipment will be utilized by the Rockland County Police and Public Safety Academy to enhance training programs for police cadets.

This investment aims to bolster the physical preparedness and tactical capabilities of recruits as they undergo rigorous training to serve and protect the community. The approval reflects the county’s commitment to providing top-notch resources for law enforcement training.
