Rockland County Announces TOR Loop #1 Schedule Updates and New Spring Valley Marketplace Stop Starting August 31

Shoppers and commuters take note: beginning Sunday, August 31, TOR Bus Loop #1 will roll out schedule adjustments and add a new stop at the Spring Valley Marketplace.

The Rockland County Department of Public Transportation confirmed to Monsey Scoop that while the route will continue to operate 23 trips daily, Sunday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM, several updates are being introduced to improve on-time performance and convenience:

  • Service every 30 minutes between 10:00 AM and 4:30 PM

  • New mid-day trips at 10:30 AM and 3:00 PM

  • Now serving Spring Valley Marketplace on select trips at 10:46 AM, 11:46 AM, 1:46 PM, 2:46 PM, 4:16 PM, and 5:16 PM

  • Easy transfer connections to TOR #93 at Spring Valley Marketplace

Most trips will still depart Shopper’s Haven at the same or similar times, but riders are encouraged to review the full schedule to plan ahead.

“This is great news for Monsey shoppers,” the Spring Valley Marketplace said in a statement. “Hop on, relax, and enjoy a smooth ride—stay in the loop and shop with ease!”

Thanks goes to the Spring Valley Marketplace and the Rockland County Department of Public Transportation for making this addition possible.
