Rockland County Allocates $1.8 Million for Affordable Housing in Haverstraw

Rockland County Executive Ed Day and ARPA Director Jenna Nazario have approved $1.8 million in ARPA funding for a new rental housing development in the Village of Haverstraw.

The project, which also received $800,000 from the Office of Community Development, will create 81 affordable housing units for households earning 30-60% of the county’s median income.

Some units will be reserved for formerly homeless individuals and those with mental health disorders, addressing critical housing needs in the community.
