The Rockland County Highway Department wishes to inform the public about upcoming roadwork on Sickletown Rd, located in the Town of Orangetown. To facilitate necessary improvements, there will be temporary closures affecting the stretch of Sickletown Rd between Fifth Ave (including the tunnel) and Townline Rd.
The milling process is scheduled for Thursday, July 6, while the paving work is planned for Tuesday, July 11. These closures are specifically for through traffic, and alternative routes will be clearly marked with detour signs. Additionally, an electronic message will be displayed to alert motorists about the roadwork.
