Road Work Alert: Sidewalk Installation on Highview Road Begins November 21

The Rockland County Highway Department has announced plans to install new sidewalks along Highview Road, spanning from College Road to West Maple Avenue. Construction is set to begin on or around November 21, weather permitting.

During the project, the eastbound travel lane and shoulder of Highview Road will be closed as crews work on installing new curbs and sidewalks. Residents and businesses in the area are asked to minimize street parking to facilitate the construction process.

The Highway Department thanks the community for their patience and cooperation as they work to enhance local infrastructure and pedestrian safety.
