Road Improvement Updates: Route 6 and Palisades Parkway Now Open with Reduced Lanes

The New York State Department of Transportation has provided updates on road improvements following the recent storm.

Good news for commuters: Route 6 is now fully open between Route 293 and the Long Mountain Circle. Additionally, the northern sections of the Palisades Parkway have reopened with reduced lanes starting from the Bear Mountain Bridge and extending southwards in Rockland County.

It’s worth noting that all connections along these roadways, including the Long Mountain and Bear Mountain Circles, are now accessible to motorists.
