Refuah Health Center has officially broken ground on a new 20,000-square-foot Women’s Health Wing, marking a major milestone in expanding access to high-quality maternal and reproductive healthcare in the Hudson Valley. The groundbreaking ceremony took place last week in New Square, with New York State Health Commissioner Dr. James V. McDonald joining Refuah leadership and community dignitaries for the occasion.
The new wing will offer a wide range of women’s health services and is expected to be completed by December 2026.
“This is more than just an expansion—it’s an investment in the future of women’s health,” said Chanie Sternberg, CEO of Refuah Health Center, during the event.
The project underscores Refuah’s ongoing commitment to delivering accessible, culturally sensitive care for women and families across the region.
