RefuahHealth and Hatzoloh of Rockland County have launched a special Health Check Drive, bringing free and essential health screenings to shuls and supermarkets across Monsey. This initiative, which began earlier this week, has already reached many locations and will continue throughout next week.
With the convenience of Refuah mobile health units, community members can take just a few minutes to check their overall health and identify any potential concerns. These screenings help detect conditions such as high blood pressure, diabetes, and pre-diabetes, which may otherwise go unnoticed.
The free health screenings are open to men and women of all ages. The checkups include vital signs monitoring, such as pulse, breathing, and blood oxygen levels, along with blood pressure screenings. Additionally, the Hemoglobin A1C test, a simple pinprick test, provides an overview of blood sugar levels over the past few weeks, offering crucial insights into a person’s health.
This initiative serves as a basic hishtadlus for personal well-being, encouraging individuals to take proactive steps toward maintaining their health. With Refuah mobile units stationed at local shuls and grocery stores, the screenings are both accessible and hassle-free.
Community members are encouraged to take advantage of this vital health service and ensure they are keeping their health in check.
