The southbound Route 17 ramp in Sloatsburg, connecting to the southbound Thruway (I-87), will be closed for two consecutive nights, starting tonight. The closure period will be from 7 p.m. until 5 a.m. the next day. This temporary closure is necessary to facilitate the installation of guide rails.
To reach the southbound Thruway at exit 15A during the closure, motorists are advised to follow the posted detour on Route 17 for half a mile, and then make a right turn onto Old Route 17. Please note that all work is subject to weather conditions.
