Ramapo Police officers recently responded after an emu escaped from a local petting zoo and took off on an unauthorized tour of the area. Officers quickly located the feathered fugitive, with help from the department’s Drone as First Responder providing an eye in the sky, and Sgt. Anton ultimately helped bring the adventure to an end. The emu was safely recovered and returned where it belonged, no injuries, no citations, and no word yet on whether another escape is being planned. 😆🚔🚁
