Ramapo Police Welcomes Three New Officers to Serve and Protect the Community!

Ramapo Police joyfully welcomed Thomas Bonkoski, Sean McGarvey, and Steven Micheline as three new officers, who have now become part of the dedicated team committed to serving and protecting the community with unwavering courage.

Today, Town Of Ramapo Supervisor Michael Specht, Deputy Supervisor Brendel Logan, and Chief of Staff Mona Montal were present as Ramapo Police Chief Reilly and the members of the Town of Ramapo Police Department warmly embraced these three new officers into the Ramapo Police Department family. Chief Reilly provided inspiring guidance and support, and Captain Hyman assured the families and friends of the officers that their well-being is a top priority.

To support the emotional well-being of the new recruits, Captain Hyman provided them with the valuable book “Emotional Survival for Law Enforcement: A Guide for Officers and Their Families” by Kevin M Gilmartin. Creating a supportive environment for our officers and their loved ones is essential to us.

Let’s wish them success and safety in fulfilling our mission to keep Ramapo safe.
