Following a recent series of vehicle break-ins in the area, Ramapo Police are reminding residents to take simple precautions to protect their vehicles: always lock your car, remove all keys and key fobs, and keep valuables out of sight. Police say many vehicle thefts and break-ins are crimes of opportunity, and a few extra seconds can help prevent becoming a victim.
