The Ramapo Police Department reported a busy weekend of enforcement activity, resulting in a total of 39 arrests across the town.
According to police, the arrests included four individuals charged with driving while intoxicated (DWI), with one driver allegedly registering more than three times the legal limit. Officers also made 12 arrests on outstanding warrants and 13 arrests for suspended operation of a vehicle.
In addition, eight individuals were taken into custody for local law violations tied to quality-of-life concerns. Police also reported one arrest for public exposure and another for forgery.
Officials noted that officers remained proactive throughout the weekend, with a focus on roadway safety and addressing issues impacting residents’ quality of life. Authorities are reminding the public to remain vigilant and report suspicious activity, urging residents: “If you see something, say something.”
