Ramapo Police Release Statement On Body Found Under Truck On Park Avenue

The Ramapo Police Department has released an official statement regarding the discovery of a deceased individual early Saturday morning in the Spring Valley section of the Town of Ramapo.

According to police, at approximately 7:15 a.m. on April 18, 2026, officers responded to a report of a body found in the vicinity of Park Avenue. Upon arrival, officers located an unidentified male, believed to be between 27 and 34 years old, beneath a parked truck. Authorities emphasized that there is currently no indication that the vehicle itself was involved in the incident.

Preliminary findings suggest that the incident did not occur immediately prior to the discovery. The circumstances surrounding the death remain under active investigation.

Members of the Ramapo Police Investigations Unit, along with crash investigators and accident reconstruction personnel, responded to the scene and are working to determine exactly what occurred. The victim has not yet been positively identified, though investigators are actively pursuing leads that are expected to assist in confirming his identity.

The Ramapo Police Department is coordinating with the Rockland County District Attorney’s Office, Spring Valley Police Department, and the Rockland County Sheriff’s Office, along with other law enforcement partners as needed.

Authorities say the investigation remains active and ongoing. No additional details are being released at this time in order to preserve the integrity of the case and to support efforts to identify the individual and determine the circumstances of his death. Officials added that there is no known threat to the public.

Further updates will be provided as more information becomes available.

  1. It started on rock hill road when some Mexicans were having a party, and an argument broke out. Someone tied someone to the bottom of his car and drove through Monsey. He turned into a parking lot off park avenue and hid the body under a pickup-truck in the parking lot.

  2. Unfortunately, these people live in homes owned by yidden (Mr. P. And Mr. F) that are destroying the neighborhood by renting to them. Hopefully they will do teshuvah and get normal tenants.
