Ramapo Police Officer John Genito Promoted to Sergeant During Town Board Ceremony

Ramapo Police Officer John Genito was formally promoted to the rank of Sergeant during a ceremony held Wednesday evening at the start of the Ramapo Town Board meeting.

The ceremony, attended by town officials, police personnel, family members, and community residents, recognized Sgt. Genito’s dedication and service to the Town of Ramapo. Ramapo Police Chief Dan Hyman thanked the community for its continued support and joined officials in congratulating Sgt. Genito on reaching the milestone in his law enforcement career.

The promotion marks the latest advancement within the Ramapo Police Department’s leadership ranks as Sgt. Genito takes on his new role serving the community.
