The Ramapo Police Department reported that officers made 23 arrests over the weekend as part of ongoing enforcement efforts throughout the town.
According to police, the arrests included eight misdemeanor vehicle and traffic-related offenses, with the majority involving motorists allegedly driving with suspended licenses. Officers also made eight arrests on active warrants.
Additional arrests included one individual charged with leaving the scene of a motor vehicle crash, one person charged with Dog at Large, three individuals charged with Endangering the Welfare of a Child and two counts of Aggravated Harassment in the Second Degree, one person charged with Criminal Mischief in the Fourth Degree and Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Fourth Degree, and one individual charged with Assault in the Second Degree and Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Fourth Degree.
Ramapo Police said officers remain proactive in their efforts to keep the community safe and thanked residents for their continued support.
