On Monday evening, officers from the Ramapo Police Department were invited to a C-Teen Law Enforcement Appreciation event hosted by the Chabad Jewish Center of Suffern.
The event, organized by Rabbi Gancz and his family, featured an engaging and welcoming program designed to foster positive interaction between local teens and law enforcement. The evening included an open Q&A session, where C-Teen participants asked officers questions about policing and community safety, followed by a series of lighthearted and competitive games, dubbed “C-Teens vs. Cops.”
To conclude the evening, Ramapo Police officers were presented with a basket of homemade desserts to bring back to the station and share with fellow officers.
Ramapo Police expressed their appreciation for the invitation and the warm hospitality, noting that the event provided a meaningful opportunity to connect with local youth and strengthen community relationships.
