Ramapo Police Investigating Series of Car Burglaries in New Square

Early Monday morning, residents of New Square, discovered valuables missing from their vehicles. Thieves targeted the Village of New Square, taking items left in cars overnight. The total value of the stolen goods and the duration of the thefts are currently under investigation.

Ramapo Police and NSES – Ershte Hilf are collaborating to identify and apprehend the perpetrators. The reported incidents occurred on Slavita Road and Stern Street, with high-value items, such as an expensive shtreimel, reported among the stolen property.

NSES – Ershte Hilf is calling on community members to assist in the investigation by providing any surveillance footage that may capture the thefts or suspicious activity. Such evidence is vital for the Ramapo Police Department’s efforts to address these crimes.
