Ramapo Police Investigate Early Morning Knife Attack in Hillcrest/Spring Valley

In the early hours of December 25, Ramapo Police responded to a medical emergency in the Hillcrest/Spring Valley area. Officers arriving at the scene around 4:35 a.m. discovered a woman who had been attacked with a knife by an individual known to her.

The victim sustained a laceration to her ear during the assault. The suspect fled the scene on foot and is believed to still be in possession of the weapon.

Ramapo Police have filed charges against the suspect, including Assault in the Second Degree and Criminal Possession of a Weapon. Detectives are actively investigating the incident and are working to locate the suspect.
