The Ramapo Police Department Youth Academy proudly celebrated the graduation of its 49th class. Seniors from Ramapo High School, Spring Valley High School, and Suffern High School completed a comprehensive program designed to provide firsthand insights into the training process for police officers.
The students participated in a range of activities, including written and physical agility tests, and had the opportunity to meet with various agencies such as the Rockland County Medical Examiner’s Office and the FBI Joint Terror Task Force. This immersive experience offered invaluable knowledge and practical skills.
The success of the program was made possible through the support of the participating agencies, the East Ramapo Central School District, the Suffern Central School District, families, friends, and the Town of Ramapo board. Their unwavering support was instrumental in providing this unique educational opportunity for the students.
