Ramapo Police Arrest Woman Following Underage Drinking Incident in Hillcrest

In the early hours of February 10, 2024, officers from the Ramapo Police Department were dispatched to a home in the Hillcrest neighborhood of the Town of Ramapo amid reports of a disturbance that appeared to be a fight in progress. Upon arrival and subsequent investigation, authorities uncovered a situation involving underage drinking.

Two male individuals, both under the age of 21, were found intoxicated inside the residence, necessitating medical attention due to their condition. Present during the incident was their aunt, a 25-year-old resident of the town, who was aware that one of the underage males had brought alcohol into the home.

The aunt was arrested and charged with Criminal Nuisance in the 2nd degree for her involvement in the situation. After being processed at the Ramapo Police Department, she was released on an appearance ticket. She is expected to appear before the Town of Ramapo Court later this month to face charges.
