Ramapo Police Arrest Spring Valley Man for Monsey Business Burglary

Ramapo Police have arrested a 21-year-old Spring Valley man in connection with a burglary and property damage incident at a Monsey business.

Officers were called to the scene on July 13th following reports of criminal mischief and a past burglary. After an investigation by Ramapo patrol officers and detectives, the suspect was identified and taken into custody on July 15th.

He was charged with Burglary in the 3rd Degree and Criminal Mischief in the 3rd Degree, and arraigned before Village of Airmont Judge Straus. The defendant was released on his own recognizance and is scheduled to appear in Ramapo Court at a later date.

As always, a criminal complaint is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
