Ramapo Police Arrest Sloatsburg Man in Conspiracy and Child Endangerment Case

Detectives from the Ramapo Police Department have arrested a 42-year-old Sloatsburg resident in connection with a conspiracy to assault an individual, as well as charges of criminal solicitation and endangering the welfare of a child.

The investigation began in November when detectives uncovered a conspiracy to commit assault. Working closely with the New York State Parole Division, investigators developed probable cause to make an arrest, as the suspect is a parolee with a history of multiple felonies.

The arrest took place last night, and the suspect was arraigned before Judge Buonocore. He has been remanded to Rockland County Jail pending future court appearances.

In a statement, the Ramapo Police Department emphasized its commitment to community safety. “Our officers and detectives will continue to pursue and arrest individuals who pose a risk to society, especially to children, when there is reasonable cause to believe a crime has been committed,” the department said.

Additional details about the case are expected to be released in a news update on Monday.
