Ramapo Police Arrest Sloatsburg Man for Burglary, Criminal Mischief, and Grand Larceny in Monsey Oil Change Business Incident

On May 13, 2024, The Town of Ramapo Police Detective Bureau arrested a 54-year-old male from Sloatsburg for Burglary in the third degree, Criminal Mischief in the third degree and Grand Larceny in the third degree.

The arrest stems from a commercial burglary that occurred at an oil change business in Monsey on May 9, 2024.

The defendant was arraigned at Spring Valley court and remanded to Rockland County Jail, due to previous felony convictions. He is due to return to Ramapo court at on a later date.
